. How can they not? Wells pitches the second game, then Mussina the third. Then when the rotation comes around again, Wells has an extra day of rest, and so he starts, and then Mussina goes the next day. It will continue the to round and round, with Wells pitching the game before Mussina. Thus, Well is #2, Mussina #3.
