It is a pretty brutal list. The Doors don't deserve to be on that list, nor do the Stones. Especially when they look at how many other bands were influenced by the Stones. Which they obviously didn't. Malmsteen?? Nahhh. Asia?? Nope. Primus?? Now I know these people at Blender are clueless. I dig Manowar, nothing wrong with having a gimmick in your music, like loincloths and refusing to use synths and stuff. Better than silly dancers backing you up and wearing one of those headset mikes. At one time they were the loudest band on earth, and I think they had a world record. Funny enough I found myself whistling the Leader of the band by Dan Fogelberg the other night for some strange reason.
