Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Who's geeking it on day one?
#22
Saw it.
I mean.. I wouldn't be who I am if it weren't for these books (ok, AND Star Wars)
Will be seein it again Thursday or Friday.

SPOILERS!! (well.. not REALLY, but close)

Gollum: GREAT!! (both voice acting, animation and believability, he's NOT Jar Jar!)
Gimli: More slapstick humor than the first (which could be a bad thing, I'm still debating on it)
Remainder of Fellowship: As they should be
Newly introduced important characters: Well done
Effects: GREAT!
Eye candy: Between settings and creatures more than enough

Jackson has again shifted the ending of the film so that it doesn't exactly match the book(s), whereas in Fellowship he stole the opening for Towers, in Towers he's saved the finale for the opening of Return of the King. Yep, no Flotsam and Jetsam, no Shelob, until next year.
