so singles for the bus ... ask for a room with a view of the strip .... have fun .... there are free magazines out with a map & stuff to do & little articles & such ... Freemont street was cool, North beyond the strip, the Stratosphere is the last big hotel at the top, & the bus will take you there

The Golden Nugget Hotel is there, supossedly there is a 6 lb lump of gold there, we didn't find it.

And another hotel right there ... next door/a few down (I don't have my book now) ... is the oldest around :thumbs-up:

We're staying at the Stratosphere :-) I got really good rates on Expedia.com, for like $25 a night, and we rented a car, so no need for the bus, but thanks for all the tips. James (my friend) was there over the summer but got REALLY sick and didn't really get to explore. We're also going to the Grand Canyon on a day trip.
