Well, my day just got that much worse. I just talked to the vet and my kitty is in kidney failure. The options are expensive treatment that most likely won't worth, or euthanasia. We'll be saying goodbye to him tonight. I hate the stupid cat...why am I so upset?

I had to do a bar review of Double Happiness, apparently it was in the 25th Hour and the editor sent me out there to check it out. The bar doesn't open until 6:00, so I didn't get out of there as soon as I hoped to. Its alright though, I'll make cookies tomorrow.

I'm sick and I have to go in. I woke up this morning, and I couldn't swallow (ha ha) and it feels like there's boogers dripping into my throat. :disappointed: I don't want to go to work, I want to go to the doctor...I guess I'll just raid my medicine cabinet and look for an antibiotic.

Is anybody's job that important? Besides police, firefighters, military and medical personnel, I dare say no. I do, however, have a ton of work to due and deadlines to meet. So its more like keeping my job is important :thumbs-up:

Don't you have vacation, sick or personal time? See, this is exactly why I never wanted a "career" -- just a job. I don't have the pressure of "I really should go in today" and I don't have to bring work home or worry about after hours. I don't think I'll be penalized for staying home today...my boss is good that way. In any event, stay safe on your commute home.

Thanks :-) But, since my boss has a 3 hour commute and he is here today....I'd look pretty weak if I stayed home :lol: That and the above mentioned deadlines I have to meet today :disappointed:
