your obvious dismay over the recent Met events is delicious!
i already told you, the yankees losing this season was sad but not that much of a surprise. i am not that bummed about it. you, on the other hand, are obviously still very bitter about it. JOY!
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

Let's bring this thread back on topic and talk about Kenny Rogers.
Remember that time in game 6 of the NLCS when he walked in the winning run for the Braves? And look at him now!

That shit keeps popping up in my mind everytime I see him on the pitchers mound.

I like how Keyser is all about Yank bashing to try and offset his Mets defeat, but he won't add that the Mets last won in '86 and the Yanks have won 26 times. Not only that, but they are in the playoffs EVERY year.
AND, whats the deal with HotFoot buddy? Since the loss is there absolutely NO news to report or what? get on top of that for me. I got used to reading it everyday.

Only a die-hard Yankee fan can cling to the rationale that losing a pennant race over the course of 6-8 weeks is a bigger choke job than losing the ALCS over the course of 6 days (including 2 at home) when up 3-0.

Just like a Yankee fan, always living in the past. The Yankees couldnt get past the first round, nice job!

he just watched it go by. bases loaded, the season on the line, the big free agent acquisition, and his only movement was a quivering of the knee. after that the season was over.
sad, really sad.
but not to me.
for me, pure joy. made my whole season.
only thing better was the last time the mets were in the series and the yankees crushed them.

I enjoyed the season regardless.
I don't want St. Louis to win. I hate those people. Fucking Mets, why'd they have to ruin the series for me?

beltran is one of the greatest postseason performers in the history of baseball.
mariano failed in a huge spot too. it happens.
i root for the yankees as long as they're not playing the mets. i would have much rather seen the yankees make it to the world series than have them fail for the 6th straight time.
