Why replace him at all?

If he becomes a mod, he can mod everything including the stoner forum. The stoner forum or TASH, never was and never will be modded by board mods. That was the purpose of it.

I haven't voted yet but I must admit that when I do it will probably be for someone else cause we all assume danked is winning.

Personally I think that Goatweed and Danked have the highest possibility of winning. However, (and I have not voted as of yet), I do think that Gomez does pose a serious threat to either of them.
