i use nyquil when i fall asleep after school and wake up at like 11pm. if i dont take it, i wont fall asleep again until like 5, leaving me an hour of sleep before school.

Me too. If I don't take anything, I'm liable to sit around bored after 2 am, wondering when it's ok to make coffee and stop pretending. There's no way I'm going to do anything useful.
