We seem to have a lot in common, mine too, such a nice place for it though.

A friend of mine has his tounge pierced, and it doesn't affect his speech or anything. But........ somone else had it done, and I guess her tounge was too short, because they pierced the connector part too, and her whole tounge swelled up.

I think that's the best place for one, even though it hurts like a mother when you're getting it. I want to get another one, but I can't figure out where I want to get it.

That whole tongue swelling up thing kind of freaks me out too. I'm surprised they did the piercing if her tongue was that short..when I went with my friend to get one, they wouldn't do it because hers was too short.

If you're going to get a tribal, have someone do a custom piece for you, it's a little more expensive but worth it so it doesn't just look like it was taken off the parlor wall...
