I just saw on ESPN news that Mel isn't gonna be back as pitching coach. Fuckin weak.
I hold the dubious honor of being the only person never modded who has also never been to a party who in the past had a shared account with a vegetable reference that has had consensual sex with a woman who wasn't from the board that also knows what >) means and remembers the end of the golden age.

I'm dead pissed at the George's blatent disregard for builing a team.

I just read on yahoo sports that Beltran is looking for a 10 year contract, think he's gonna get Arod money or even out do him?

Beltran will not get a 10 year contract. But regardless, he won't be getting $25 million a year. Probably not even $20 million a year.

My prediction: 6 years: $115 million

There have been stranger things in baseball, I think he can get 8 years probably and might get 20 million a year.

so 8 years 160 million is my prediction.

yes, tino, tony clark, and olerud can sit on the bench and form the "washed up first basemen who cant hit the fastball anymore" club.
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.

That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.
