i figured that the cd was going to be not so great, thats why i didn't buy it. i personally think that jagged little pill is her best album, it all went down hill after that.

I knew the CD wasn't going to be her best work when Maverick pushed it back until after Christmas. The Alanis fan list that I'm on blamed it on the release of Madonna's Greatest Hits CD, but after listening, I know its more about the lackluster sales that were anticipated from the album. The lyrics are not as well written as her previous albums and her "pain" is barely even noticeable anymore. At least on SFIJ she seemed happy and was writing about it, on this album it seems more like she was going through the motions on most songs. It's really odd how I feel though...I kinda feel like my boyfriend of a few years just broke up with me....very odd. Oh well.

Funny you should say that, because last year I played Carson Daly in a skit for my college talent show. I never actually got to see my performance nor did I get any poon out of the deal. So the only redeeming value of doing it that I got to point it out in this very post. :thumbs-up:

That would depend on whether or not Jennifer was performing the next day. I would sleep outside all night in front of Virgin Records, in rain sleet or snow, just to be one of the lucky first to be so close to her when she sings 1 song to promote her new cd. I have been waiting 6 years now for a full album of new material. To have her make a personalized autograph on it will make my heart go a flutter. I sure hope they have medics on hand...
