It doesn't matter what the object is, one god means one god...Monotheistic does not mean the belief that there is one rock, that thetre is one gay blade...It is the belief in one god, one deity....If people worshipped a rock it would not be monotheism, it would be idolism, the worship of an idol or idols.

If people belived that that rock was the embodiment of some higher power than that person would belive that rock is their god. Why do catholics worship in front of a cross with jesus on it? As a former catholic I have seen people pray to it, put figures of saints (whom they pray to) on thier dashboards among other places and what about the rosary? Explain how that came about genius.
