... I needed my old girlfriend back, yet she was long gone. And this new girlfriend, UGH, she was just not doing it for me. So, I started to put out pictures of my old girlfriend, with small labels on them that said "THIS IS WHO YOU SHOULD STRIVE TO BE". And at every opportunity, I would yell at her and say "BE MORE LIKE MY OLD GIRLFRIEND!" When she would talk, I would respond "YOU ARENT AS SMART AS MY OLD GIRLFRIEND" "YOU ARENT AS FUNNY AS MY OLD GIRLFRIEND"
I had to get it through her mind that she needed to step up her game , so I yelled and complained and whined , knowing that if I kept it up, she would eventually get smarter, funnier, and wittier.
