I never wanted a "career". To me, that means that you can't just work 9 to 5 or whatever. There's usually overtime involved, and a lot more stress. You end up completely involved in it. Maybe it's just me, but I like knowing that when 4 o'clock rolls around, I can go home and not have to worry about work til the next day.
