I think B/W is underused and usually adds to a film.

What Dreams May Come was pretty cool visually
Dinosaur the animated movie of a few years ago had the best animation I've ever seen.
Swordfish, becuase of Halle's breasts.

Stealing Beauty has amazing visuals, most of the movie is shot it the most beautiful places in italy, simply breathtaking

yes, you are correct. Plus Liv Tyler wasn't too hard on the eyes.

But '...Ripley' was shot all over Italy as well. Plus, I know you will agree with me when I say what a wonderful film that was :o
