I met a ton of people on airplanes and airports across the country,
I don't think you can fly in this country without bumping into a member of the WWF ( i refuse to say WWE)

I met Pete Seeger when I was a real small kid,
I doubt if that means anything to anyone here,
but I thought it was cool as Hell when I was 5.

TURN, TURN, TURN
Chorus:
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose under heaven.
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep.
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together.
A time of war, a time of peace
A time of love, a time of hate
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing.
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of peace. . .I swear it's not too late.
Words from the book of Ecclesiastes
Music and additional words by Pete Seeger
WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE
Where have all the flowers gone, long time passing?
Where have all the flowers gone, long time ago?
Where have all the flowers gone?
Young girls have picked them everyone.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Where have all the young girls gone, long time passing?
Where have all the young girls gone, long time ago?
Where have all the young girls gone?
Gone for husbands everyone.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Where have all the husbands gone, long time passing?
Where have all the husbands gone, long time ago?
Where have all the husbands gone?
Gone for soldiers everyone
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Where have all the soldiers gone, long time passing?
Where have all the soldiers gone, long time ago?
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards, everyone.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Where have all the graveyards gone, long time passing?
Where have all the graveyards gone, long time ago?
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Gone to flowers, everyone.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Where have all the flowers gone, long time passing?
Where have all the flowers gone, long time ago?
Where have all the flowers gone?
Young girls have picked them everyone.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?

I met James Doohan (Scotty from Star Trek) years ago at a comic book store when he was doing a signing there. Real nasty fucker, who seemed like he was being inconvenienced to sign his name.
I also met Sylvester Stallone through my dad once - nice guy, not nearly as tall as you would think (but he was built).
I have also met with and hung out with A.J. Pero - the drummer from Twisted Sister. I'm a drummer also, and we used to go to the same music store on Staten Island (Mode Music) where I would take lessons and buy sticks, etc. He was a regular there, but of course, once they got big he disappeared. I haven't been in the store for a while, but I heard once in a while he still goes in there to hang, etc. He was a really nice guy, and though he never really "flexed" his skills on any of the TS albums, the guy could play fairly well.

i forgot this one: i am walking out of central park with some friends after softball. we are crossing over to the Dakota. while we are waiting for the light, Mary Tyler Moore walks up and is waiting with us. i cant help myself so i turn to her and say , "you just took a nothing day and suddenly made it seem worthwhile:. she pauses a beat and then turns to me and says "fuck You" and then walks away. we fell to the ground we were laughing so hard!
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

I don't really recall meeting anybody famous.
The only one I can think of right now is the guys from the band "Overkill" back in my old heavy metal days.
I don't think they are even famous, so it probably doesn't count.

I met guliani at a yankee game, said hi shaked hands
I was at Natalie Portman's senior prom (not with her, obviously) and my date introduced me to her there
Jorge Posada and Derek Jeter both live across the street from my dad's store. Posada is apparently in the store buying shit for his babies almost every day when he's at home. days of night games jeter, soriano and posada all leave together for the stadium around 3, and when i worked at the store i got to meet all 3 of them.
I will touch the sun or I will die trying.
