What is your favorite newspaper/magazine/newsletter?
is there anything that you read that you jones when you miss?
I need to read the newspaper in the morning, mostly local sports. But I really enjoy Wired magazine. I get the online newsletter & avantgo download.
Where else can you get articles with topics such as:
"Italian scientists have mixed swine sperm with human DNA to produce litters of pigs carrying human genes"
"Among the latest innovations served up by a handful of startups are new and better ways to distribute pornographic content via mobile phones and PDAs."
"Last January, Adrian Lamo awoke in the abandoned building near Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Bridge where he'd been squatting, went to a public computer with an Internet connection, and found a leak in the Excite@Home's supposedly airtight company network. Just another day in the life of a young man who may be the world's most famous homeless hacker."?

I read the Post and the News in the morning, mainly for sports.
As far as mags go : PC Gamer, Computer Shopper, and my newest free subscription - Blender.

I'll buy the New York Post every once in awhile across the street from work and I get the Star Ledger daily at home. In terms of magazines, I get Rolling Stone delivered to me at work, sometimes buy Playboy when I'm feeling lonely ;-) , and I regularly buy the lot of Maxim, Stuff, Gear, etc. for the month.
On a sidenote, I've started to watch alot of TechTV, usually The Screensavers. I have no clue what goes on inside my computer, but I'd like to know or at least pretend like I do.

I also contribute to the worlds tree shortage by getting tons of free news/mags that I just glance at, like Infoworld, Information weekly, cadalyst, cadence, eWeek, and a bunch of construction mags.
email I get something like 4 or 5 daily (idg.net, pcworld, NY Times, Webmonkey, Tech Live, Extreme Tech, NY Rangers notes, etc.). It seems like a good idea when I sign up, but I usually just scan the headlines.
I actually read the stuff on Avantgo the most - I get NY Post, Wired, NY Times, & Anandtech downloaded to my palm pilot - when I'm in someone's office waiting, or on the train, it makes a good time to read.

News Paper: Times or the Daily News...do most of my paper reading on line though.
Magazines: Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Cosmo, Glamour, Sports Illustrated (I only read the baseball shit and pass it on to my brother) and Jane all come to my house on a regular basis.
I also pick up random copies of Star Magazine when I'm at the supermarket, and sometimes I'll buy Maxim, etc. depending on who is in it.
Oh no we took it back to far
Only love can save us now.....
