Lately there has been a lot of enhancements and changes here on the board. Some have been noticeable some you probably are oblivious to.
What I want to know is if you like them or not. Should we continue to add features/enhancements and make changes or should we just leave it alone?
This board is and always has been for the members, so step up and make your voice heard. We want to do what the majority wants, not necessarily what we want.

My only concern is that with all of our toys, it'll take forever for pages to load on my dial-up connection at home. Is that even an issue or do these additional features have no effect on load time? I like the changes, but I have no options for faster connections where I live.

Could you possibly add links on all the header skin somewhere to the main CDIH page, and maybe another one for chat? It would make it easier than having to type in the cdih.net address each time you wanted to go there and look.

I have a shitty dial-up here at work (I average a speed of 26.4) and while it's slower than my cable at home, it's not bad at all IMO - in fact, it loads pretty fast, even with some of the larger sig pics.
As for the changes, I think they're great. I never even used the main page, because I found it to be nothing more than an extra click to get to the forum. Now, it has more of a purpose. I already jumped into the chat room, and it connected almost instantly - I was all alone, however.
Change is good - it keeps things fresh. Kudos to all involved!

its still not letting me talk in chat...
so far, the changes are good, but i'd recomend one by one votes on the other ones, since people might not like a certain thing in a huge crop
and put a chat link up top, on every page

for me the chat took a minute or so before i could start typing. it says you're connected, but you have to wait until it says "you've join cdihchat" or something like that. incidentally, jack can you fix that and put the ed on the end of join or is that their mistake? just one of those little things that bothers the Hell out of me :clueless:
