Arpi has offered to stop critiquing threads if I take away Dents ability to start threads.
The two sides...
Dent like I said in the other thread has my utmost respect for his determination. He tries and tries no matter how much he gets beat on, that's more than can be said for a lot of posters here and anywhere else. Many woulda caved months ago but he tries not cause he enjoys frustrating people but cause he cares.
Arpis critiques have been the case for a lot of agita for a long time in many peoples eyes. They've begged for him to stop and here is the chance, no more "this thread sucks" posts ever.
The choice is yours.

just wanted to give you all a taste of what you can get rid of here! end the tyranny of dent. that oppresive feeling of knowing that his thread is awful but knowing you have to read it to make sure
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

Having a poster try to spark a thread to me is more important that keeping a "this post sucks/is sub-par" comment out of it or any other thread simply because I don't get upset by it. If anything, I'll cave in to peer-pressure and make a sarcastic comment :-p
Besides, Arpi will just find something else to use as a schtick, while poor Dent will be left unable to do anything but reply...it doesn't seem right.

While I would love to see an end to the ridiculousness that is "this thread sucks". Dent has always been such a good and loyal mod and has shown tremendous heart in the face of adversity, you gotta respect that. He's always willing to take a beating in order to create interest on the board, he does it not for himself or at anyone elses expense, he is a man of great character, a man of perseverence, a great man... Dent's problem is he posts too inetlligently, animal abortions was an igenius thread with a hidden meaning that possessed a goldmine of comedic proportions. I say show your loyalty to a man who has suffered the slings and arrows of hideous replies to still keep on trying to entertain.
