I was thinking about our armed forces overseas and how xmas must suck in the desert. I also thought how my great xmas may not have been possible without our boys (and ladies) protecting our freedom on foriegn soil. So thanks to all the soldiers, sucking dust in the desert.
Then I remembered there was a CDIH member that left for some overseas assignment, a few months ago. He posted he was leaving and we all posted good lucks & goodbyes. Anyone remember who that was?
I was thinking an online xmas message would be in order.

nobody forced them to enlist,they must like like it. they should thank me for paying enough taxes to subsidize thier career choice. :burnfucker:
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

Yea, because the military gets paid so well. You might hear the police and fire department(s) complain about their wages and threaten to strike, but you never hear that from the military. I know you were trying to make a joke, but seriously, when we have so many people over seas risking their asses for various reasons, I think we should all be a little greatful for those who are doing it by choice, because if they weren't don't doubt for a second that we'd be drafted.
