the Mrs. and I wanted to go to the shore this summer, actually but everytime we think we have a free weekend, something comes up.

i still haven't gone to the beach up here, and this is my 5th summer. i was gonna go july 5th but the weather was crappy. if and when i go i'd probably go to long beach i think it is.

The only Jersey shore I go to is Wildwood Crest. Even having lived/worked near Belmar, Pt. Pleasant, Manasquan & Seaside for the past 6 years, I haven't made it to those beaches once (except off-season to walk on the beach).

I thought about trying to hit the beach at LBI, but it's too crowded on the weekends. My town has 3 lakes, but I haven't been to them either. It's easier just to walk out to my yard and go in the pool.
