I'll vote for Jim Beam but make it clear that my vote is for Jim Beam Black Label. Fucking $20 a bottle and every bit as good as Knob Creek or Makers Mark for so much less a price...

Regular Jim Beam is eh...not good really.

And Johnnie Walker Gold is better than Blue, for a much lower price...

When I did drink, I always stayed away from any 'dark' liquors. The hangovers are the worst and not worth it to me.

However, top shelf Vodka was always a weakness and the stronger, the better.

Evan Williams 1989 Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey blows them all away. Evan Williams is best, as a brand, across the board. Wild Turkey is my standard. Jim Beam is far too tame. And JD is nothing special.

I'd much rather prefer Bucky Johanssen's Premimum 1994 Double Barrel Single Malted Southern Sweet and Sour Mash Kentucky Westminster Bourbon. It just tastes so much more refined than the rest of the redneck drinks.

I don't mind the insanity, I just don't like the facts that a) it requires several ounces to several gallons of fluid to alter the state of mind and b) that there is the possibility that my body just may reject all that fluid coming into my body.
