Lets say for argument sake you know a girl who is really hot, smart, has a great job, and is amazingly fun to be with...BUT! She tells you that she has an STD, it's not aids but she has an STD that hasn't "poped up" in a while, do you proceed and try dating her or do you say no thanks?

im not so sure its a question of ethics and more a question of if you want to put yourself at risk. i dont think i would take the risk.

i'm gonna assume it's herpes, since that's the one that comes and goes, i think the others can be taken care of with some antibiotics, right? and yeah, it's a question of your willingness to put yourself at risk. if you knew she had it and your friend wanted to date her, then whether or not to tell him would be more of an ethical issue.
