Post here your fantasy questions and myself or anyone else who wishes to dish our their fantasy wisdom will grace you with their advice.
I'll start by posing a question.
I recently acquired the Big Unit and Tejada for A-Rod and Mulder. I'm quite strong in pitching now with Astacio, RJ, Buehrle, and Ortiz my starters and Fogg and Rogers on my bench.
With Santiago, Nevin (coming off injury), Alfonzo, Aramis Ramirez, and Tejada rounding out my infield and Sanders, Luis Gonz, Ichiro, and Ruben Sierra rounding out my outfield I could use a little upgrade in the offense.
I was proposed Soriano, Giles, and Sweeney for RJ, Ichiro and Fonzie.
Would you do it?

50 games? are we talking a head to head yahoo style league? in that case, its certainly possible if your pitching has a couple phenomenal weeks. you need to be a bit more specific for me to give you an accurate analysis.

Yea, head to head league..108-131-25 .456 54 damn 54 games back. My pitching staff sucks. And I never know who's going to be playing on any given night. Its like a crap shoot with my regular players.

Hey Dr. roto, is it possible you can pass the pending trade in the league you are currently commisioneering. Thanks.

how can keyser call himself dr. roto when he cant make a deal without IM'ing me about it for 2 hours. i make all his deals. ask him, i havent been wrong yet.
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

You shouldn't have made the first trade, and you should do the second.
My question: I'm a league where no one can compete with me. What do I do to keep it interesting?

I proposed the wrong trade in a league, and obviously the guy accepted it. When I realized that I'd fucked up, the league said "tough shit". Some thought I was lying.
That's not cool is it?
I wanted to offer: Luis Gonzalez, Paul LoDuca for Freddy Garcia and Posada
I actually offered: Luis Gonzalez, Paul LoDuca for Brian Lawrence and Posada.

Galt, I don't have to approve your trade. It goes through automatically.
I think my original trade was pretty even. A-Rod and Mulder for RJ and Tejada. I got back a very good shortstop and the best pitcher in the game for the best hitter in the game and an above average pitcher.
I think making the trade thats on the table now improves my team even further, make the original A-Rod/RJ trade even more valuable.
As far as your trade, thats a major problem and totally sucks that you didnt realize it. Was there at least a waiting period? Apparently not, which I definitely feel is a must.

Yes, there was a waiting period, but oh well.
Mulder is more than just an above average pitcher. The drop off from Arod to Tejada is not made up by Johnson - Mulder.
You done got hosed.
And Sleeper's the whiney cunt, not me.

I just find it funny that "Dr. roto" is in LAST PLACE in our league. Yes, even Amy is beating him. And don't give any shitty excuses like you don't pay attention to the league. You are the commisioner for godsakes. That is just flat out embarassing.

Sleeper, you are right. I flat out suck in that league. I am not Dr. Roto, I was hoping everyone would pitch in and throw in their own advice to each other in this thread. I am probrobly the last person you want to ask for advice when it comes to fantasy baseball.
The one thing about our league tho is that even last place is only 30 or so games out, which in head to head is not insurmountable. Everyone in that league still has a a decent shot at making the playoffs.

I could use some advice. I Get Mike Cameron, I give up Juan Gone, who gets the better deal?

If this is the same league where you need SBs, then it's pretty much a no-brainer to take Cameron.

You think he can improve on his .224 avg? It's pretty ugly, and I can't take too much of a hit in the avg dept.

I'd trade Juan Gone in a heartbeat for Cameron. I don't see Juan doing his usual get injured and still put up decent numbers dance this year.

Is he going to come off his injury? Should I still hold on to him?
