Is it fate striking back at Roger for wearing the 300th win patch before it occured? Fear of success on the part of the staff? Are his teammates pissed off at him for stealing the spotlight and pulling a "Black Sox" type of performance to show him up?
It seemed like such a given, and now, we'll have to watch the rotation again to see when he's starting again.

4 fucking errors in one inning! think they are pushing a bit?
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

I'm gonna say it was the awful fielding, the stellar pitching performance by hitchcock that did it.
I'm not gonna mention the fact that he was on the cover of SI about winning his 300. That jinx has nothing to do with it, right? :26:

I hope Clemens dies or is otherwise injured and stuck on 299 forever.
His next game is against Kerry Wood in Wrigley.

He wouldn't have done this well in Boston.
Blah blah blah curse, boston sucks, wakka wakka.
He was a fat lazy piece of shit. He showed up fat and late to spring training every year. He pissed and moaned, and just never cared his last few years. He was a 35 year old overweight .500 pitcher who had been hurt much of his last four years in Boston.
Then he leaves all of a sudden gets some motivation and actually tries. He shows up early for spring training and lost about 20 pounds from September to April the year he left for Toronto.
He just stopped trying

Detroit hasn't been explosive since Ty Cobb was in the outfield and I don't mean his number on the wall.
