for Odom, Grant and a first. I think it's a great deal for Miami. Him and Wade will have a Shaq and Kobe thing going without all the drama. Thoughts?

Last I heard on ESPN radio, the Lakers agreed to Odom, Grant, and either Butler or a first rounder.
I can't imagine the Heat giving up Butler over a late first, unless PR suddenly became retarded.
If it does go down, Miami is an instant contender in the East, with Shaq, Wade, Eddie Jones, and they play in a god-awful division.

Was watching ESPN today and the deal is butler, odom, and grant plus a 1st rounder. Shaq's agent was quoted as saying that hed be surprised if the deal didnt go through, so it looks pretty much like a done deal.
Question for the lakers now is if Kobe will stay and he probably will and should.
Plus ESPN made a great point that this helps shaq probably prolong his career since the east is not chocked full of big men for him to deal with on a nightly basis.
It'll be weird seeing him in a heat jersey tho.
