If you could create a tour with 2 bands, both playing full sets, ala Metallica/G'n'R Tour '92, what 2 bands would you choose. Try and make it current Singer/Songwriter and/or bands that still record and perform. Also, who would you have open the show, and who would you have close the show? Finally, if you like, create a setlist that each band would play, in the order you would prefer, and if they would jam together at any given point etc.. [Thanks Spit}Specific Venue or type of (Club, arena, outdoor etc..)[/Thanks Spit]
Hint: No Kyuss(Spit), No Hendrix(BJ), No Beatles(Gonzo), No Minor Threat(Sleeper), No NKOTB(Faceman), No Harry Chapin(Magus), No Flock of Seagulls(Sean), No Faith No More(crx girl), We will make Jewel an exception just for VG('cause she loves her so), and FINALLY NO ALANIS (Pollywannacracker46) --Wha? Alanis is commercially AND artistically dead, and I think that oughtta count!!!! ))
My choices would be Matthew Ryan and Todd Snider(and the Nervous Wrecks). However, I am undecided who would play first. Given the nature of the material that they both play, I am leaning towards Matthew Ryan opening and Todd Snider closing. It's too late to come up with a setlist right now, no less a particular order. Maybe tomorrow.
