no problem, its the newer one with a better battery life. BTW I hope you sprung for ther extended warranty, I normally dont but the last one I got really paid off well so I got another one on my current player.

well I have the year warranty, should I get the best buy warantee or get one from apple?

60 bucks for 3 years seemed kinda steep but I dunno.

I dunno, when my wife got me my old player she got the 4 year for $40 (at the time) and this past summer it died so I got a brand new & upgraded model (since the old one was discontinued) for free, and I paid another $40 to extend it for 3 years - so for me it was worth it.

Mine'e not an apple product and Creative didnt offer an extended so I dunno which would be better in your case - knowing apple I would assume their coverage to be better than Best Buy's.

well I got the 1 year from apple and if anything will look into buying an extended plan.

normally Im against those things, but I figure if youre investing a lot of cash in something that has a high probability of either fucking up and/or breaking, it might be worth getting - I mean the cost of it also factors in, but sometimes they pay off. when I bought my tv I got a 3 year in home for, I think, an extra $200 or something and I never used it so it's hit & miss.

I dont recommend smoking near this thing either - remember what happened to your old PC!!!

Goatweed Wrote:Noise cancelling headphones are nice, but I found them better for home use than commuting, plus theyre huge.

I use sony fontopia <sp> earbuds that are like $35 and they sound awesome for buds. Bass is strong & treble is clean plus they stand up well to being studded in & out of my pocket every day.

Most buds or earphones that come with the players suck.

i showed those to eddie last week. most people bug out about the price tag. at most stores the fontopias are $49. ($39 at radio shack) there is a lesser version of them that are cheaper from sony, but not the same as the main fontopia that are really comfortable.

I used to get electric shocks from my ipod ear phones whenever I ran and sweat. At first I just thought they were crackling, but then I realized I WAS GETTING ELECTROCUTED BY APPLE!
