The govt's policy in the old west times was "No indians, no bison." Before western expansion, there were 30-60 million bison in N. America up until 1890 at which time there were only 500-900 left thanks to years of slaughter sponsored mainly by railroad companies. Now there are about 150,000 bison in managed herds. I read that.

you can also always tell which way the wind is blowing by a herd of bison. they always graze facing into the wind.
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.

That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

I had smoked beef brisket with jack daniels sauce, cheese mashed potatoes and corn with rosemary seasoning from friday's yesterday. it was better than bison
