I remember when I was applying for colleges, a friend of mine on the hockey team was trying to find ways to juice up his applications for clubs and shit. He asked about that "honest club" and how he could get in? I was at a loss for a bit, and then I said "you mean the Honor's Society".
"Yeah, whatever, how did you get into that? Is it like something to do with helping the community?"
"It's not 'honest', it's 'honors' as in grades"
I wasn't mean back then and so I didn't even try and make him feel bad when I answered
