So my evil evil soulless company blocks so many sites it's scary. And they continue to add more blocked sites on a daily basis.
However, they haven't blocked Google Reader (though they have blocked gmail and gchat), so I've been adding a bunch of things on google reader.
Best things:
Tyler Cowen's Marginal Revolution
firejoemorgan
kottke.org
yanksfanvssoxfan
Baseball Analysts
The Bill Simmons Feed sucks ass because it doesn't have any content, just headlines, and ESPN throws 50 articles a day under the "Bill Simmons' Feed" just to bombard people and try to get them to click on their shitty articles.
I don't know why Andrew Sullivan isn't on google reader. When almost eveyrone else on the Atlantic is.
Any good feeds you guys read on a daily basis?

Why don't you try netvibes? You can access meebo through it. You can also customize it to allow alot of the sites.

i wouldn't be surprised if netvibes is blocked, or ends up being blocked a few days after i use it.
i think they can't seem to block google reader because when it was blocked for a few minutes google was blocked too.
i use to be able to get into my gmail by going to https://gmail.com instead, but they changed their software and that loophole went away.
this is where your electricity bill money is going

Add netvibes and meebo to the list of cool hipster internet things that I've never heard of. I am officially old and no longer cool. And I also don't like all that crazy music the kids listen to.

Galt, don't stress it. New quirky websites that make things efficient pop up every day, it's very hard to keep track of. I just rely on Clicked on MSNBC and Something Awful to keep me informed of the stuff that works the best. SA has a great thread devoted to Most Useful Sites, I find so much shit in there that it's like an avalanche of goodness. I wish I could spend more time exploring all that shit, but, that's for college kids. I have things to do, like laundry and riding the subway.
Netvibes is like iGoogle, or like MSN homepage. Fully customizable. Meebo is an internet IM that allows you access to all IM clients.

Print isn't quite dead yet. Dow Jones and Rupert Murdoch is positioning himself to go head to head with the NY Times. This means they'll both burn some dollars before it fades.

worse is Bill Simmons feed. It just names every Page 2 article "Bill Simmons" in an effort to get more people to read their bullshit.
At least that's what it was like a couple months ago when I removed Simmons from my feed.

Bill ran into a big fight with him and ESPN. They did not followthru on promises, so he stopped blogging. I think he's back, but for a while they were putting shit as his name while he played hardball.
You should do that on your blog. Let the whiny liberals twist in the wind from your Libertarian brigade.
