I'm waiting for Lindows to come out, if they can get past the Microsoft lawsuit.
Imagine a Linux system that can finally run every single program written for windows...

Um guys hate to break it to you but all the functionality of Lindows is already out in the WINE(Wine Is Not an Emulator) project. Lindows is just vanilla Linux + WINE. So you could get all the functionality of any old linux distribution + WINE. Wine has progressed pretty well these days. It can run MS Office pretty well. The only snafu is DirectX. That's the problem in getting games to work. However they are working on it on projects like WineX, Transgaming WINE, and CodeWeavers WINE(there are several different groups doing it).

AM, when it becomes as easy as buying the program and double clicking install.exe to be able to run ALL of my windows software and games, then I'll switch. I just don't have the time to research, install a bunch of add-on software, and tweak everything.
In other words, I just want to drive the car, not be a weekend mechanic.
