soulseek
I just used it for the 1st time tonight and got exactly what I needed, pretty quickly. It might end up sucking, but right now I love it.

someday, when you are big boy, you will feel the same way about a girl. ;-)
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

I think I may have overrated it, cause I found a pretty obscure band on it that I couldn't find on Kazaa, but lately I can't get anything off of it. Oh well, it was good for one thing. And no, it's not for one type of music.

Haha, the sound of a register is music to TEH HALFKIKE's ears.
OK, I will keep it up 'til you "hear a symphony".
No worries, Zooty, try XoloX. They, and all other p2p apps, can be found on ZeroPaid

I need help. I basically use kazaa to download my music. However, I have had problems with downloading songs that are either looped or the song is looped and renamed for 5 other songs on the album. Example, I had lots of problems downloading the Red Hot Chili Peppers album.
Yesterday I downloaded the 8 mile album for me and loved it with no problems. I tried downloading the Christina Aguilera cd for my wife and 5 or 6 songs are all the same song and it is a loop of the chorus. I tried a bunch of the users and they all did the same thing. This is exactly what happened with the red hot chili peppers with me as well as the eminem lose yourself song. Any recommendations of a site that I can download where I can be sure the songs won''t be looped.

for kazaa, the best way to ensure you are not getting a song with loops is to choose to download from a user that has the entire album. its harder to find but its usually the most reliable copy.
and WBK is right, spend some time and learn how to get it off NG and IRC as those are the best places really to get anything.

the thing i noticed with kazaa, when i download, it seems many times that the user switches as it downloads and that includes all the good copies I have gotten

direct connect is good for the things that kazaa and xolox and such are good for, finding single songs
but in regards to downloading entire albums, newsgroups and irc are definitely the way to go

I've recently been using P2P for finding software so the downloads can be pretty big. I used to like Direct Connect but Kazaa's ability to resume downloads from whomever it can reconnect to beats the Hell out of Direct Connect.
Kazaa's search works, too. Something I can't say for Direct Connect.
But it's slow as shit. I left Kazaa running continously for four days to download a 750MB file. This new Jedi Knight game better be worth it.
