I was just wondering if anybody on the board uses one of these with their ps2 and how good or bad it is. Im thinking of getting one for christmas so I can play madden and other games online. So what is the verdict on it....good or bad?

I've used it with socom and it works well - it's pretty basic, you just plug it in and let it install to the memory card.
As for performance, it does what it does - most times if theres a connection issue, its on the server's end (at least thats what ive noticed with socom).

I use my PS2/NA all the time for SOCOM, that's until SOCOM II came out. Easiest way to game online without a lot of bullshit.

It works just fine with the cable modem. Highly recommended.
