I'm sorry, but internect connection sharing is not rocket science. I think the problem was the cable, but keyser was not able to go out and get one.

As far as being cheaper and easier, a crossover cable should cost you less than $10 and following the ICS wizard is not all that difficult. Especially when compared to running a cable through the ceiling/floor/wall.

its messy and i live in a rented apartment. besides, wireless is just as simple and no messy wires.

ok so i bought the linksys wireless-b game adapter so i can play in my bedroom rather than in my basement......after a few minutes i finally got the fucker to work wirelessly but now when i try to play socom it won't connect....i get network error #612 or 613..........WTF!?!?!?!?!


did you have to set up a new network configuration and save it to your memory card?

That's a firewall issue, reboot the modem/router/PS2 and try again.

i got pissed and walked away from it......several hours later i tried again and viola! it worked.

that shit works like a charm....no noticable lag at all. :thumbs-up:

i had to set mine to "P1" in order to get the signal from my router.........i was going under the assumption that the directions were 100% correct and that all i had to do was set it to "IN"
