I have no screen saver. I have a liquid screen which does not require a screen saver. Therefore, my screen just turns black when I'm not using it.
It's way more professional.

yeah, I haven't used one for a long time, they generally cause more problems than they're worth. Most times I just shut my monitor off.
As it is, monitors have come a long way, and most newer CRT monitors dont suffer from burn-in, even if left on for extremely long periods of time.

I never turn off my screen and leave it on for weeks at a time as I do my comp, that explains why my monitor is for shit now and I cant even watch movies on it anymore.

i have webshots with personal photo added in on my desktop. but the screen turns off after like 10 minutes of that anyway. on my laptop the powersaver puts the computer into hibernate after 5 minutes.
i need a new monitor for my desk top though. its starting to get wavy.

I don't smoke in my house either (actually, I'm smoke-free for 9 days now - tryin' to quit), but my mom does and when I go over there, you can totally see & smell it. I never really noticed it wheile I lived there, but being detached from it, I see it a lot more clearly now. It's pretty nasty.
