i got a new microsoft wireless keyboard the other day & when i installed the software for it it uninstalled the software for my old crappy logitech one, along with a driver for AOL.
so now i can't start AOL because i get this error message:

i normally wouldn't care about uninstalling aol & then reinstalling it, but i am worried about a lot of the emails i have saved in the program.
should i just download the driver from somewhere?

Can you find your saved emails in the subdirectories of the AOL file?
If so, make sure you have the ones you want to save, copy them to some other location and you should be OK.
Also, when you install AOL, it usually tells you you have another version on the computer and asks you if you want to save your files.
However, in your case, I think you're fucked.

if i didn't realy need some of the emails right now, i wouldn't care about deleting aol all together.
i never use it at home. i have roadrunner. thats only where the important emails go.
plus i need the dial up for work because we dont have internet at either of my jobs.
i tried to find the emails, but i couldnt. i guess i really don't know where to look.
