for a pierced ear to get infected about 8 years after the last time you ever wore an earring?
My earlobe swelled up like crazy and it hurt to sleep on the left side and I stuck a needle through it and all this pus and blood shot out. It was pretty cool actually...but now it's all swollen again.
Now I feel all self-conscious like everyone I talk to is staring at my red swollen left earlobe.

use a q-tip dipped in alcohol to wash it out - sure, it'll hurt like hell for a minute but it'll kill the infection & dry up all the pus.

Have a dog lick it.
Dog saliva has miracle antibiotic properties.
Plus, as an added bonus, dog spelled backwards is god.

I got my belly button pierced last June, thought it was fully healed but 2 months ago had a small infection.
Wash with Betadine or another surgical soap.
