I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

me too, it was that damn pee wee herman movie that did me in. That was the impetus for my fear, I believe. There was also a painting of horrific clown faces my parents hung up in my room as a kid.
I almost punched out an effeminite clown at Cirque de Soleil when they were doing their bullshit crowd interaction routine. As I was with my daycare students, it would have looked really bad. They were braver than I was in that situation.
