I was cleaning out some shit on my pc and I deleted something which removed all my windows sound stuff. My volume control, sound recorder, all windows sounds, etc are now gone. It asks me to insert a cd to reinstall it but I dont have the cd anymore.
I looked allover the windows website and couldnt find anything, help a cracker out.

Speaking of which, for some reason every time I click a link, or a website loads, my computer makes a little noise. I hate it. I don't know how to turn it off.
I have a "no sounds" scheme on my computer, yet for some reason this persists. I see no option to turn sound off on Explorer (fuck Mozilla), and short of muting my computer (which isn't an option since I"m always listenting to music) I don't know how to turn this damn thing off.
