It looks like a Nintendo DS without the upper screen.

it reminded me of a game gear, but i see the nintendo ds too
supposedly they'll be between 600-1000
i think they'll need to get 5+ hours of battery life out of it with all features/brightest screen turned on for it to have a shot at catching on

I think you could play MAME and Civ 3 on it.
Or use mobile Excel, Powerpoint, Word,.... you know, work stuff.

it'll definitly have a place in niche/business markets eventually, and supposedly it'll be powerful enough to run stuff like photoshop. if you can play WoW on those new mac minis i'm guessing you'll be able to play it on something like this
i just noticed in my original post that because i said "actually buy" one of these, you might think i mean nobody will. i think people will. i was just wondering if anyone here sees a need for it or wants it for what they do daily, and would consider it over a laptop (that would probably have better specs) for the same price

it'll either be on screen, or in the hardware, depending on the model. i saw pictures yesterday of one that the screen could turn and reveal a keyboard underneath, and i saw other pictures showing a keyboard on the screen that appeared in the corners and you used your thumbs

agreed, it's only gonna make the screen get fingerprints/scrathces and will require (expensive, I'm sure) replacement.

I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.
