it's just a great name for a player whose praises are not sung high enough.
He's been a beast over the last month. He's no Ryan Howard but for a 2nd year player he's becoming a stud.
Who woulda figured with this staff, most consistent pitcher is wang and Robinson Cano is competing for the batting title.

Soriano wouldn't have been as good as he is now, if he didnt get traded. It lit a fire under his ass and in hindsight when you can get A Rod, you get A Rod. Plus it was so much sweeter knowing how bad the sox wanted him.
Plus if they didnt get a rod, they'd have probably dumped a ton of money on someone like Beltre for 3rd and he woulda been the biggest bomb since star-child.

yeah but it was like he totally just vanished from the face of the earth. One minute he's the yankee 2nd baseman, then next season rolls around and he isnt there, no one even mentions him. I dont even remember reading or seeing anything in the off season about him.
I bet he's buried under 2nd base.

Soriano was alwasy a 40 HR 40 Double guy. They talked about this year being a big break out because of his position change and the fact that he flat out carried the Nats all season.
