MVP Jeter.
1st inning - makes a crappy throw, almost kills Sheffield (who's worth more? Someone who doesn't play the field, or someone who does....poorly). Mussina's K saves Jeter. 1st inning - can't get a grade school bunt down. And it was stupid to bunt in that situation. 2nd inning - ends a potential rally with a groundout with men on 1st and second 4th inning - Makes another poor fielding decision, not trying to get Guillen at third. Monroe/Leyland's idiocy saves Jeter 4th inning - double, benefitting from from frazzled Verlander. Pokey Reese could have hit that pitch. 6th inning - crappy fielding #3 from Jeter, Sheffield saves an error 7th inning - Jeter made to look the fool against Zumaya. Striking out on an obvious ball. 9th inning - Jeter lucks out and doesn't have to make the game's last out. Damon saves him.
