Best chain pizza: Papa Johns.
Pizza Hut = crap. California Pizza = crap.
best topping combo: *fresh* green peppers and onions, with pepperoni and/or sausage.
I prefer my sicilian to be well-well-done.
Beer with pizza is always good, but it cannot be a fancypants microbrew.
Salad with pizza is acceptable.
DiGiornio's is good.
Best specialty pizza: BBQ chicken and/or buffalo chicken. White pizza, no ricotta, extra garlic.

Your breath must be lovely after a pizza date.
Keyser, why is salad before Pizza not acceptable? I'm not talking a fancy salad, just a side ceasar or greens with italian dressing to prep the palate.
By definition, a chain pizzeria is more than 20 locations. So we're talking Pizzahut, Sbarro, Pizza Uno, Papa John's, etc. 2 Boots = not a chain.
and OAS, is the alzeimers kicking in? Because fruit on pizza is just so not right on multiple levels.
(hey, that was my first OAS is old joke. Go me!)

My friend worked in a pizza place in NC, they had over 200 toppings to choose from.
Weird shit too, any kind of fruit you could want, buffalo, ostrich, rattlesnake. Some of the shit was just whacked.
You could even get a peanut butter and jelly pizza. BLEH!

Sure, everyone likes to pick on gramps. I always get the last laugh though.
Fruit on pizza rules. Pinapple with Canadian bacon, yummy! And for the record, tomatoes and green peppers are both technicaly fruits. Vegetables on pizza should be in question.

Thats just my personal preference. I'm not a big fan of the salads most pizzaria's make. Usually its limp and the dressing sucks.
Now if we are talking Antipasto, thats another story entirely. Theres no better side item to a pizza than some nice Antipasto.

The only time meat mixes well with something sweet is when it comes to fucking.
Other than that, meat (that you eat) is supposed to be flavorful and salty.
Don't put syrup on my sausage, nor honey on my ham.
