Who's rooting for the spic to break Joe D's streak? I am, why not.

Yea, I jinxed it and it'll be over tommorow.

I for one am sick of all the records being broken...pitching is so watered down and the hitters are so much bigger and stronger you really have to wonder if the accomplishment is as great....

eh, different kind of record. Castillo has 1 HR all year (i think), so I doubt he's on the steroids. Hitting 56 games in a row will always be a huge accomplishment. It's more about consistency than power, speed, etc.

Castillo is a slap hitter, he knows how to lay his bat out and just plop a ball anyplace he wants on the field. He's alot like Ichiro in his approach to hitting. He's got a good shot at getting close, don't know if he will break Joltin' Joe's record but he's got the skills.

He is bound to press for hits and that will make it harder for him to relax and possibly hurt his chances.

Mexicans are funny people. One day in the mall this spic came over to me and said something in half broken english. So I punched him in the face.

Isn't spic spanish? Or is it just anyone who speaks spanish? If that's the case, are Brazilians spics? What about Ports? I honestly don't knowl I always called them Wetbacks, boarderhoppers, and lettuce pickers.

Maybe I'll just start calling anyone who wasn't born in America a Spic
