I just had one a sandwich that consisted of virginia ham, pepperjack cheese, mayo, and a little cranberry sauce on a round roll. It was so yummy. I'm gonna have to try and make it myself someday.
What's your perfect sandwich?

I always always always get a portabella mushroom sandwich when I see it on a menu. The restaurant I used to work had a kickass one.

A very good friend of mine works for Boars Head.... Have you tried their deli mustard?? Spicy and hot...yum!!
I don't know if anyone has ever read the Deadly Sins books by Laurence Sanders, but the main character (Edward X. Delany) made the BEST sandwiches. I would be reading the book and then find myself at the deli ordering a pastrami on rye with a bottle of Dos Esquix Amber....

Sandwiches (or anything else not prepared by a moron) always taste better when someone else makes them for you.

this has to be from a diner, not deli style:
turkey breast, iceberg lettuce, american cheese on a keyser roll with french dressing

we are so spoiled at my apartment, my friend works for Boars Head as well and brings home whole loaves of cold cuts that we slice here and make our own sandwiches. we can get just about anything Boars Head makes for free. They make some pretty Damn tasty condiments as well.
That flank steak sandwich sounded amazing. Its hard to find flank steak that is not too tough though.
