Cricket World Cup 2003 - I'm watchin...are you?

Ok so my school has a large Indian/Pakistani population, and there is a cricket team here at my school. So anyway the Cricket World Cup has come around and the cricket team got some money to get broadcast rights to show it on one of our channels here on campus. Here's the article talkin about that.

So anyway I figured since we paid for it I should check it out. I watched a game involving South Africa and Bangladesh. I was confused as the score at the bottom said 270 - 3 in favor of South Africa. I later found out this wasn't a blow out. The other team hadn't got up to bat yet. So I found out the rules. To my surprise. Cricket isn't that bad of a sport. It's way too long (sometimes taking 9 or 10 hours to play one game), but in all I think it's fun to watch.

I remember in high school I was friends with some Indian kids who were all about cricket. They would watch it on the internet in the library during lunch. Moral of the story: I like to surround myself with people lamer than me to build self-esteem.
