Okay, I didn't watch American Idol last season, but I got hooked on it this season. Is anyone else still watching this? Thoughts? Predictions?
Of the boys:
My favorite is Josh -- but not for a pop star -- he'd have to be signed as a country star, so I would guess he won't win.
Clay is amazing -- too bad he's so goofy looking
Ruben has a great voice, but does he have the look?
I know I'm missing someone, but I can't figure out who.
Of the girls:
Kimberly Caldwell is my favorite.
Kimberly Locke has an amazing voice and would be gorgeous if she lost some weight.
Carmen - eh
Trenyce - too many of her type already
Julia - reminds me of nights spent at a karaoke bar.
Any input?

Yes, iw atch it. Much better than last season. You are forgetting the black guy Corey. He was in some mesh shirt yesterday. The 2 favorites are Ruben and Clay. His version of A WHole New World was as good as Peabo Bryson. He needs to update his wardrobe. Put him in some nice clothes and he will be a huge star. I read on drudge today that there is a good chance Josh's unit may be called. As of right now, he can stay.
And Julia is definitly the worst of the remaining contestants.

I remembered Corey's performance last night. That was my favorite of his so far. There's also the hercules hercules hercules guy, but I can't remember his name. He's pretty good also.
Julia should have been sent home weeks ago.

You aren't missing much. The best part of American Idol was the try outs. Some really bad singers thinking their shit don't stink.

Yay, she is gone. That was the first group performance I actually liked. And they were really emotional about it. Paula Abdul is really an idiot. When she said she disagrees with the bottom 3, she proves she is a moron. She does not say anything bad about anybody. This show ceases to exist without SImon

I couldn't believe Paula said that either. Julia has needed to go home for weeks.
I wonder if the idols picked that song for the group performance, or if the writers picked it and had Josh start it since he's a Marine. It gave me chills.
As for Simon, sometimes I think he's too harsh, but usually I just laugh.

SImon is harsh, but almost all the time he is right. He does not sugarcoat anything. Paula says everyone is good. She serves no purpose whatsoever on the show. Just put the random celebrity judge in her place every week.

Last night's show was awful. I think the only ones who did halfway decent were Ruben, Carmen and Kimberly C. I hope they don't vote someone off on the basis of that horrible display.

Ricky "Hercules Hercules" deserves to go. Give Josh another chance. He just had a bad night. And Paula Abdul really sucks so bad as a judge. And what was up with that Earth WInd and Fire guy. He still thinks he is relevant.

Once they kick out the really bad singers, its not worth watching anymore. I watched the first few episodes and loved it. Then the horrible celine dion and justin timberlake wannabes get carted out and it becomes boring.
