Emily Nicole was born at 12:44am. She weighs 6 lbs 13.4 ounces. She is 18.4 inches long. My wife got the epidural immediately even before delivery started. She did not curse at all. She was actually kind of calm. The baby is doing fine but the doctors are being extra cautious and have her in in intensive care because she had a little trouble breathing. My wife was 34 weeks and 3 days carrying her.

I just thought of something. When I was born, I was an emergency C-section and my one lung collapsed. I'm perfectly fine now. I know it's difficult, but don't worry too much.

Hey, don't they say that babies gain about a pound a week in the last couple weeks? Could you imagine if Mrs. TW carried Emily full term?
