So, yeah, this weekend my computer decided to be a bitch again, and would just keep rebooting upon startup. So, first I attempted to go in with a preinstalled environment and get some of my data out, but it wasn't working. A repair install wasnt happening either. Then, I decided to take a risk.
I would reformat the drive, and then see if all those restore programs that retrieve deleted data would work.
I tried four different ones, and the only one that worked was GetDataBack. I was able to restore all my documents, music, video. There were some glitches. Some of the mp3s blended together in a couple songs.
